Up to 1,600 feet will fit on a DVD. If you have more than 1,600 feet, you should split your reels into separate orders.

The reel size is based on the diameter of the reel. 3-inch, 5-inch and 7-inch are the standard reel sizes.

We will accept non-standard sized reels of 8mm, Super 8 and 16mm movie film. When calculating total footage and price, choose the reel size closest to your non-standard reel. This calculator is only an estimate. The actual total footage will be counted and the price will be adjusted as necessary.

The maximum feet of film that will fit on one DVD is 1600 (for 8mm and Super 8) or 3200 (for 16mm). If your total footage exceeds the maximum, then split your reels into separate orders and use this Order Form Wizard to prepare each order separately.

Yes, you may mix 8mm, Super 8 and 16mm film in the same DVD order. However, like reel types must be grouped together in viewing order.
